# Naval Clear Thinking

## Purpose

Simplify confused thinking down to basics, first principles, and plain language.

## Read First

- `references/concept.md`

Read only the files needed for the current request.
All runtime references are local to this skill so the folder can be copied independently.

## Workflow

1. Rewrite the claim in one plain, falsifiable sentence.
2. Separate observations, assumptions, causal links, values, and unknowns.
3. Remove jargon and rebuild the argument from the smallest supported facts.
4. Identify the next observation that would change the conclusion.

## Output

Return these checkable fields:

- Plain claim
- Fact-assumption map
- Causal chain
- Unknowns
- Reality test

## Boundaries

Use n-reality-ego-audit when emotional self-protection is the main blocker; this skill cleans the reasoning structure.

Paraphrase by default and do not reproduce long passages from the book.
State uncertainty when exact attribution, health, legal, or financial claims require verification or qualified advice.
