# Naval Desire Audit

## Purpose

Identify desires that create suffering and decide whether to keep, drop, change, accept, or leave.

## Workflow

1. Name the exact desired condition, deadline, and promised emotional payoff.
2. Trace triggers, hidden status or identity needs, controllability, and opportunity cost.
3. Choose keep, act, reduce, replace, accept, or leave with explicit reasoning.
4. Create a seven-day practice that tests whether loosening the desire changes attention or action.

- Chosen disposition
- Seven-day practice
- Review question

## Boundaries

Use n-accept-change-leave for an external situation after the desire itself has been identified.

Paraphrase by default and do not reproduce long passages from the book.
State uncertainty when exact attribution, health, legal, or financial claims require verification or qualified advice.
