# Naval Inversion Filter

## Purpose

Find what will fail, what to avoid, and which mistakes matter most.

## Workflow

1. Define failure precisely across result, timing, cost, and ethics.
2. Generate internal, external, and interaction failure causes.
3. Rank causes by likelihood, impact, detectability, and reversibility.
4. Convert the top causes into removals, guardrails, monitors, and stop conditions.

## Output

Return these checkable fields:

- Failure definition
- Ranked failure paths
- Preventive removals
- Early warnings
- Stop conditions

## Boundaries

Use n-risk-of-ruin when catastrophic survival risk is central; inversion also covers ordinary failure.

Paraphrase by default and do not reproduce long passages from the book.
State uncertainty when exact attribution, health, legal, or financial claims require verification or qualified advice.
