# Naval Memory Refresh

## Purpose

Refresh saved Naval memory entries for stale, contradictory, duplicate, or low-value guidance.

Read only the files needed for the current request.
All runtime references are local to this skill so the folder can be copied independently.

## Workflow

1. Resolve the approved memory root and inventory artifact frontmatter by type and tag.
2. Group candidates for stale content, contradiction, duplication, weak retrieval, and privacy risk.
3. Classify keep, update, consolidate, supersede, or recommend deletion with evidence.
4. Present a refresh report and apply no mutation without explicit approval.

## Output

Return these checkable fields:

- Memory root and counts
- Keep and change classifications
- Contradictions
- Approval-required actions
- Next refresh target

## Boundaries

This skill maintains existing optional memory; it does not enable storage or silently rewrite private material.

Paraphrase by default and do not reproduce long passages from the book.
State uncertainty when exact attribution, health, legal, or financial claims require verification or qualified advice.
