# Naval Setup

## Purpose

Configure optional Naval memory output paths, privacy defaults, and direct-install reference guidance.

All runtime references are local to this skill so the folder can be copied independently.

## Workflow

1. Inspect the workspace for an existing local config, ignore rule, and memory root.
2. Offer no persistence, project-local storage, personal notes, or a custom folder.
3. Draft the config and folder changes without writing them.
4. Ask for approval, then create only the approved config, ignore rule, and folders.

## Output

Return these checkable fields:

- Config path
- Memory mode and root
- Privacy default
- Created or skipped items
- Suggested next skill
