# Naval Source Fidelity

## Purpose

Keep interpretations faithful to the book, avoid over-quoting, and flag when exact phrasing needs verification.

## Workflow

1. Classify the claim as quote, paraphrase, synthesis, or unverified attribution.
2. Inspect the supplied source and nearby context when exactness matters.
3. Compare the proposed use with what the source actually supports.
4. Rewrite or label uncertainty without strengthening the claim.

## Output

Return these checkable fields:

- Claim class
- Verification result
- Safe wording
- Source trail
- Remaining uncertainty

## Boundaries

Use n-quote-safety for publication formatting and excerpt limits; this skill answers whether the claim is faithful.

Paraphrase by default and do not reproduce long passages from the book.
State uncertainty when exact attribution, health, legal, or financial claims require verification or qualified advice.
