# Naval Habit Change

## Purpose

Replace vague goals with identity, triggers, substitutes, tracking, and commitment.

## Read First

- `references/concept.md`

Read only the files needed for the current request.
All runtime references are local to this skill so the folder can be copied independently.

## Workflow

1. Define the target behavior, cue, context, reward, and consequence.
2. Choose a replacement, friction change, and minimum version.
3. Set a fourteen-day trigger-action tracker with a same-day recovery rule.
4. Review misses as system evidence and change one variable at a time.

## Output

Return these checkable fields:

- Habit loop
- Replacement behavior
- Environment change
- Tracker
- Recovery and review rule

## Boundaries

Use n-systems-not-goals when the desired outcome spans multiple behaviors and environmental constraints.

Paraphrase by default and do not reproduce long passages from the book.
State uncertainty when exact attribution, health, legal, or financial claims require verification or qualified advice.
